What it means to own a horse at this level.
A syndicate is a group of people who together own a share in a competition horse. Rather than the full cost and responsibility of sole ownership, syndicate members share in both the ownership and the experience — following the horse through its training, its setbacks, and its triumphs, with direct access to the team and the journey.
At Dana Cooke Equestrian, our syndicates are built around sport horses with genuine upper-level potential. These are horses selected with care, developed with patience, and aimed at the highest levels of three-day eventing — CCI4★ and CCI5★ competitions that put them on the same courses as the world's best.
The appeal of syndicate ownership isn't financial. People who buy into a competition horse at this level are buying a story — a connection to a horse they'll follow for years, through the good days and the hard ones, with front-row access to an elite sport that most people experience only from the sidelines. It is, above all, an experience that's genuinely difficult to find elsewhere.

Stable Access
Visit Kingfisher Park, meet your horse in its home environment, watch a training session. Syndicate members are welcome — this isn't a passive arrangement.

The Horse’s Journey
From young prospect to international competitor.
Dana selects horses with the scope, temperament, and movement to reach the top levels of the sport. Syndicate members join early in that journey and stay along for the ride.
Selection
Dana identifies horses with upper-level potential — often young horses sourced from Europe, evaluated against precise criteria built from years of experience at the top of the sport.
2. Foundation
Years of patient, systematic training through the lower levels. Building the fundamentals — relaxation, rhythm, responsiveness — that separate a horse that can do it from one that's truly ready.
4. The Big Stage
Four-star and five-star competition — the Kentucky Three-Day Event, Maryland, international CCI competitions. This is what all those years prepare for. Syndicate owners are there for every step of it.
3. Advancement
The move up through the levels — Preliminary, Intermediate, Advanced, then international competition. Each step is carefully considered. Nothing is rushed. The horse's welfare always leads.

Ownership Documentation
Formal recognition as a co-owner of your horse. Your name is part of the horse's record — in competition programs, on the ownership listing, and in Dana's program materials.
Competition Access
Information on the competition schedule well in advance so you can plan to attend. There's nothing quite like watching your horse and rider enter the dressage arena or tackle a cross-country course at a major event.
Regular Updates from Dana
Direct communication from Dana throughout the year — training progress, competition preparation, health updates, and honest reflections on how the horse is developing.
Photo & Video Content
Dana's professional photography and video team captures the horse's journey throughout the year. Syndicate members receive access to high-quality images and footage from competition and training.
Stable Visits
Open invitation to visit Kingfisher Park and spend time with your horse. Meet the team, watch a schooling session, and see the day-to-day life of an elite sport horse program.
Shared Costs & Experience
The syndicate model distributes the costs of keeping and competing an upper-level horse across a group of owners — making participation at this level accessible without carrying the full financial weight alone.
