Coaching & Lessons
Learn from someone who lives this sport.
Dana coaches riders across all levels — from the very first cross-country fence to serious competition preparation at the upper levels. Her teaching is grounded in the same principles she applies to her own horses: patient, honest, and aimed at building something that lasts rather than patching over what isn't working.
She has a particular talent for making complex things feel straightforward — not by oversimplifying them, but by finding the right language for each horse and rider combination. Students don't all learn the same way, and Dana doesn't teach like they do.
Like riders, every horse has its own way of learning. Dana believes great horsemanship starts with understanding each horse as an individual, tailoring her teaching to bring out their best in a way that they can truly understand.
Lessons are available at Kingfisher Park for both boarding and non-boarding clients. Dana also travels for clinics — contact to enquire about upcoming dates near you.
